President Donald Trump has taken bragging about himself to a whole new level of stupidity, and CNN shamed him for it.
Despite the fact that the legislative achievements of presidents can be easily researched, Trump proclaimed on Twitter Friday morning that he holds the record for most legislation signed by a president in history.
With all my Administration has done on Legislative Approvals (broke Harry Truman’s Record), Regulation Cutting, Judicial Appointments, Building Military, VA, TAX CUTS & REFORM, Record Economy/Stock Market and so much more, I am sure great credit will be given by mainstream news?

Except, as usual, Trump is WRONG!
Not only did Trump slow down on signing new legislation after his 100th day, thus letting Harry Truman jump back ahead of him, he comes in dead last among modern presidents going all the way back to Eisenhower.
According to GovTrack:
“Trump is in 10th place, after Eisenhower, Kennedy, Nixon, Carter, Reagan, Bush 41, Clinton, Bush 43, and Obama.”
By his own standard, the President has sunk to the last place with 94 bills signed into law by his 336th day in office (today). That’s 8 fewer than President George W. Bush and not even half as many as presidents Bill Clinton (209) and George H.W. Bush (242).
They even created a handy-dandy chart proving that Trump is in the last place.

Also, quality of legislation matters a lot more than quantity, and Trump fails at that as well.
The only major piece of legislation he has signed so far is the unpopular GOP tax plan, which he signed on Friday morning, 337 days into his presidency.
If this were the record of another president, Trump would be calling him a loser.
But since Trump asked the media to report on his “record,” CNN obliged.
CNN host John King was quick to humiliate Trump for making such a false claim.
“You hear the president’s frustration and if you are a Trump supporter, you blame us for some of this and maybe something else. Trump critic, he is full of hyperbole.”
“I’m sorry, Mr. President, your record does not match Harry Truman. A lot of them were big victories. You have one achievement, and that’s the tax cut plan unless you consider the Russia sanctions—but the president does not like that bill.”

That’s just facts. Donald Trump has signed less legislation than any president in modern history. His major accomplishments are laughable. If Trump wants credit for breaking any records it will be the number of rounds of golf he has played this year, which far surpasses President Obama’s first year.
And Trump can certainly be given the award for the most times a president has stuck their foot in their mouth.
He can also be credited with telling the most lies and watching the most television, while also being the most incompetent leader America has ever had to put up with.
Seriously, the man needs to stop talking. He’s just embarrassing himself.
