Donald Trump Jr. thought he could attack Representative-elect Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez on social media and get away with it. He discovered his error when she promptly took him to the woodshed, resulting in a bunch of snowflake conservatives whining about it.
Ocasio-Cortez has been a prime target of Republicans since rising to prominence earlier this year, and her Democratic Socialist views such as universal healthcare have been attacked ever since.
On his Instagram, Trump Jr. posted a meme he called “funny” and “true” accusing socialists of wanting to force Americans to eat dogs.
Of course, the meme is not funny. It’s vicious slander designed to demonize Democrats like Ocasio-Cortez who actually care about the people.
And like every other Republican who has attacked Ocasio-Cortez, she soon fired back by reminding Trump Jr. that Democrats will have subpoena power in January when they take over Congress.
I have noticed that Junior here has a habit of posting nonsense about me whenever the Mueller investigation heats up.
Please, keep it coming Jr – it’s definitely a “very, very large brain” idea to troll a member of a body that will have subpoena power in a month.

But Trump Jr’s conservative allies cried foul, accusing Ocasio-Cortez of abusing her power, which she doesn’t even have yet.

Frankly, it’s troubling that none of these people, especially “lawyer” Kimberly Guilfoyle, can’t read.
Because as Ocasio-Cortez would go on to point out, she was referring to Congress as a whole and that she doesn’t personally have subpoena power and she was merely reminding Trump Jr. that the law is about to come down on him like a ton of bricks for lying to Congress under oath, which is a felony, and illegally meeting with Russian agents to help his dad’s presidential campaign:

It should be pointed out that President Donald Trump makes threats all the time on Twitter, some of which violate all sorts of ethics rules, yet conservatives don’t whine when he does it. Instead, they whine like babies because a woman of color is giving them a taste of their own medicine. It’s pathetic.
