Diamond and Silk cry racism after Democrat eats fried chicken to mock Barr’s cowardice

“Fox & Friends” howled with rage on Friday morning over Rep. Steve Cohen (D-Tenn.) mocking Attorney General Bill Barr’s cowardly refusal to show up at a congressional hearing on Thursday, and Trump shills Diamond and Silk went on the show to absurdly accuse him of racism.

In response to Barr failing to show up to testify before the House Judiciary Committee, Cohen called him out while holding up a fake chicken.

“Chicken Barr should have shown up and answered questions!” Cohen told reporters. “An attorney general who’s picked for his legal acumen would not be fearful of any other attorneys questioning him for 30 minutes! This man was picked to be Roy Cohn and Donald Trump’s fixer!”

Cohen would later bring a bucket of KFC fried chicken to the hearing and eat it as Barr’s seat remained empty while House Judiciary Chairman Jerry Nadler condemned Trump’s protector for being in contempt of Congress.

On Friday, Diamond and Silk, whose real names are Lynnette Hardaway and Rochelle Richardson, accused Cohen of being racist.

“It’s racially insensitive is what I think,” Hardaway complained. “And can you just imagine if that was a Republican doing that to a Democrat, I mean just think about that for a moment.”

The problem is that both Cohen and Barr are white men, and fried chicken is a stereotype used by racists against black people. Cohen was merely highlighting Barr’s cowardice in a memorable way. There was absolutely no racist intent. Had Barr been a black man, perhaps they’d have a beef. But their outrage is imaginary and their accusations have no facts to stand on. Yet, Fox News allowed Trump’s cheerleaders to level the false accusation.
