While most of us were watching the Super Bowl Sunday evening and enjoying the many commercials that are often the highlight of the game, Donald Trump Jr. took umbrage with one ad from the Washington Post that spotlighted the importance of a free press to democracy.
Shortly before the game ended, Don Jr. fired off this hateful tweet:
You know how MSM journalists could avoid having to spend millions on a #superbowl comercial to gain some undeserved credibility?
How about report the news and not their leftist BS for a change.

Social media users were quick to remind Junior that Washington Post journalist Jamal Khashoggi was murdered and dismembered last year at the Saudi Arabian consulate in Ankara, Turkey, for daring to criticize Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. Others noted that Don Jr. and his father are two of the biggest liars on the planet, which doesn’t exactly make them the least bit credible:
Is that what Jamal Khosshogi should have done?

Wow. How low can you go? Especially when they honored some of those who gave their lives to report the truth. What are you willing to give your life for?

Like when they reported your illegal meeting with the Russians & you lied & said it was about adoptions? Or your father said there was no contact between the campaign & Russians or denied he’d paid off porn stars to cover up his affairs & the press was right & you guys lied?

Oh the media DJT has manipulated for decades starting with the Central Park Five Scandal all the way to birtherism? Last night was about honoring those who sacrifice or have sacrificed their lives reporting in the line of fire. Pay attention.

There is no amount of money that you or your family could spend to gain any credibility.
