Elizabeth Warren taunts Trump about a future in prison

Warren

Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) responded to President Donald Trump’s racist attack against her on Saturday night by pointing out that Trump may realize his worst fear by being sent to prison before he can stand for re-election in 2020.

Going to prison is a very sensitive issue for Trump. After all, there’s a reason why he’s lashing out at all of the federal investigations looking into his campaign, his business, his finances, his inauguration, and presidency right now. And that’s because he is scared.

So, the day after Trump attacked Warren with a disgusting joke about Native American genocide on Saturday night, she took the stage in Iowa and dished out a hard truth that Trump won’t want to hear.

“Here’s what bothers me, by the time we get to 2020, Donald Trump may not even be president,” she said. “In fact, he may not even be a free person. But here’s how I see it – Donald Trump is not the only problem we’ve got.”

Warren skillfully demonstrated herself to be the adult in the room. She put Trump on blast while not even mentioning his insult.

The progressive lawmaker went on to propose structural changes to campaign funding and promised not to take any money from Super PACS.

And Donald Trump very well could be in prison. He is literally an unindicted co-conspirator who directed and coordinated with Michael Cohen to pay hush money to women he slept with, thus committing campaign finance felonies. Trump could also be potentially charged with conspiracy against the United States, fraud, money laundering and a whole host of other crimes once investigators finish up, including Special Counsel Robert Mueller, whom Trump fears the most.

Warren clearly hit Trump where it really hurts while all he can come up with is a schoolyard insult that offends Native Americans. The 2020 Election has begun and Trump is already losing.
