Fox News host Jeanine Pirro’s program “Justice With Jeanine” has been preempted for the second straight week according to an online schedule posted by the network. Instead, the documentary “Scandalous: The Trial of William Kennedy Smith,” will air in her program’s 9 p.m. timeslot, The Hill reports.
A Fox News spokesperson wouldn’t comment about the network’s programming, other than to say that the network doesn’t comment on internal scheduling matters.
Pirro has been under fire from the public and the network after making incendiary remarks aimed at Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.), Raw Story reports. Many people felt her comments were Islamophobic.
The decision to bump her show comes after her remarks earlier this month, in which she suggested that Omar’s religious beliefs conflicted with the Constitution.
“Omar wears a hijab, which according to the Quran 33:59, tells women to cover so they won’t get molested,” Pirro said during the open monologue of her show March 9. “Is her adherence to this Islamic doctrine indicative of her adherence to Sharia law, which in itself is antithetical to the United States Constitution?”
The network quickly condemned Pirro’s remarks and said the issue was being addressed with her internally.
“We strongly condemn Jeanine Pirro’s comments about Rep. Ilhan Omar,” the network said in a statement. “They do not reflect those of the network and we have addressed the matter with her directly.”
Pirro is an avid supporter of President Donald Trump, who embarked on a series of lengthy tweets to imploring the network to bring her back. He also took the time to browbeat First Amendment Award winner Shep Smith, Deadline Hollywood reports.
“Bring back @judge Jeanine Pirro,” he tweeted. “The radical left Democrats, working closely with their beloved partner, the fake news media, is using every trick in the book to silence a MAJORITY of our country.”

….must stay strong and fight back with vigor. Stop working soooo hard on being politically correct, which will only bring you down, and continue to fight for our Country. The losers all want what you have, don’t give it to them. Be strong & prosper, be weak & die! Stay true….

….to the people that got you there. Keep fighting for Tucker, and fight hard for @JudgeJeanine. Your competitors are jealous – they all want what you’ve got – NUMBER ONE. Don’t hand it to them on a silver platter. They can’t beat you, you can only beat yourselves!

Were @FoxNews weekend anchors, @ArthelNeville and @LelandVittert, trained by CNN prior to their ratings collapse? In any event, that’s where they should be working, along with their lowest rated anchor, Shepard Smith!

The Los Angeles Times is reporting that her show is expected to return on March 30.
