Joe Biden being defended by Marco Rubio as Trump accuses him of groping in new attack ad

Senator Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) spoke out in defense of former Vice-President Joe Biden on Wednesday in response to allegations of inappropriate touching and kissing from at least two women as President Donald Trump releases a new campaign ad attacking Biden as “creepy Joe.”

Biden has a history of appearing to make women look uncomfortable during public appearances, and that has come back to haunt him as he considers running for president in 2020.

So far, the allegations are tame compared to those leveled against Trump in 2016 when over twenty women came forward to level sexual assault and harassment allegations against him.

Biden has addressed the allegations by denying that he ever intended to make the women feel uncomfortable.

“In my many years on the campaign trail and in public life, I have offered countless handshakes, hugs, expressions of affection, support and comfort,” he said Sunday. “And not once – never – did I believe I acted inappropriately. If it is suggested I did so, I will listen respectfully. But it was never my intention.”

It should be pointed out that the first woman who accused Biden works for Bernie Sanders’ campaign, and Biden is, perhaps, the biggest threat to Sanders in the Democratic primary should he enter the race.

Rubio defended Biden by claiming that the allegations amount to “dirty politics” in footage played by Fox News’ Outnumbered.

“I don’t know the facts behind it, but I know someone had that information and was sitting on it waiting for the right time to hit him with it,” Rubio said. “You know that’s how it is when you run, all these guys going around saying that they’re not going to talk about each other. They’re all feeding information to the press about each other.”

Fox host Harris Faulkner then played video from Trump’s latest attack ad against Joe Biden accusing him of groping women and referring to him as “creepy Joe.”

Co-host Jessica Tarlov jumped to criticize the ad because Trump not only “ripped off” Hillary Clinton’s “Role Models” ad from 2016, the ad accused Biden of groping, which none of the women who have come forward have accused him of doing.

Here’s the video:

Of course, Trump has not only been accused of sexual assault, he has been accused of rape and even bragged about kissing and groping women without their consent on a recording.

“You know I’m automatically attracted to beautiful—I just start kissing them,” Trump boasted. “It’s like a magnet. Just kiss. I don’t even wait. And when you’re a star, they let you do it. You can do anything. Grab ’em by the pussy. You can do anything.”

Compared to Trump, Biden is a saint.
