Michael Flynn Jr., son of disgraced former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn, is apparently not satisfied with the shame of being the subject of an investigation that could’ve land him in prison for decades if his father hadn’t pled guilty to save his hide.
Flynn Jr. has now decided to join the debate on gun control and go after one of the brave student survivors calling for sensible gun control in the aftermath of the mass shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in February.
On his Twitter feed, Flynn attacked Parkland student activist David Hogg by posting this:
Someone (hint: parents) clearly didn’t smack this kid much growing up. Your emotional high will run out soon so savor it while it lasts…. https://t.co/AJ5v80T9bK

The younger Flynn’s remarks come in the same week that Fox News host Laura Ingraham got into hot water by attempting to humiliate Hogg by noting that he’d been rejected by several colleges he had applied to. Hogg, it should be noted, carries a 4.1 grade point average and will likely do well at whatever college or university he attends. Dozens of advertisers have dropped their sponsorship of Ingraham’s show.
Reaction to Flynn’s hateful Twitter posting was swift:
Your father is a felon, a liar and a traitor. You were either dropped on your head or had the few brain cells you were born with smacked out of you. Regardless, you certainly are not an example of good parenting, so you might want to STFU.

Are you implying that in addition to being a felon and taking money from both the Kremlin and Erdogan’s Turkey (allegedly to kidnap an American resident and rendition him) your father smacked you when you were a child? And do you believe you turned out better than David will?

The Flynns should stay out of the gun control debate since convicted felons aren’t allowed to own firearms

I mean, if my father was a traitor to my country (hint: yours is) I’d probably try not to throw shade at high schoolers that don’t like when people kill their friends. But that’s just me.

You should probably worry about jail a lot more than you seem to be worrying about a teenager who survived a massacre, you pile of rectal slime.

Commenting on the backlash over his remarks, Flynn only made matters worse:
Lot of libs triggered by this comment. If smacking your kid when he gets out of line/mouths off is “troublesome” for you, you’re one of the main reasons our kids (in the US) are #22 in the world in education. Called LACK OF DISCIPLINE.

One wonders if Flynn Jr. is familiar with the following expression: Those who live in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones.
