Feisty Protester Schools Fox News Reporter Live On-Air (VIDEO)

Fox News reporter Peter Doocy was filming a live shot at Capitol Hill Tuesday when a feisty protester decided to crash his party and tell him just what she thinks about the tax bill Republicans will soon vote on.

Fox News gets schooled

Doocy was filming a segment for Outnumbered and commenting that Congressional Republicans have enough votes to push their bill through the House of Representatives, Mediaite reports. That’s when the unidentified woman decided to give him and Fox News viewers a piece of her mind.

And she did a fantabulous job of flustering Doocy in the process.

“Excuse me, we’re just doing a live shot real quick,” he said while trying to dodge the woman and avoid the camera.

Doocy, who is the son of Fox & Friends co-host Steve Doocy, put some space between himself and the woman, who repeated:

“The tax bill is a scam.”

That prompted Fox News producers to cut away from the live feed and replace it with footage of the GOP legislators at a news conference, Raw Story reports.  That didn’t prevent the woman from firing this salvo:

“People with developmental disabilities, the tax bill is a scam that’s going to hurt people,” the woman said.

Unsurprisingly, this is when Fox News producers cut the audio for the segment and flipped it back to anchor Sandra Smith, who was in the studio.

“Peter, we’ve got you, and we’ve got that there’s some things going on there,” Smith said. “Hopefully we’ll get back to you in just a bit. But this is a historic day.”

Yeah, it’s a historic day all right. Especially if you’re one of the 53 million people with developmental disabilities living in the U.S. who may very well be harmed by this draconian tax measure.

Kudos to this feisty woman for having the guts to speak up for the rest of us. No wonder Trump-loving Fox News didn’t want to listen to her.
