Trump Attacks The NFL Again After Player Stands During The Mexican Anthem

Donald Trump just refuses to let go of his feud with the NFL and black players.

Before Sunday’s match-up against the New England Patriots in Mexico, Oakland Raiders running back Marshawn Lynch stood for the Mexican national anthem after sitting during the United States national anthem.

Lynch sat in protest of police brutality and racial injustice.

Here’s video via YouTube. You can find Lynch’s number 21 between some orange water tanks. And then there is a side by side image of him standing and sitting during the respective anthems.

Of course, Donald Trump somehow found out about it and threw a temper tantrum on Twitter.

Yep, just when you thought Trump had put his obsession with the NFL aside, you woke up this morning and found this:

Notice how Trump is demanding the NFL suspend Lynch for daring to exercise his right to free speech and expression.

And the fact is that NFL attendance and ratings are just fine despite conservatives throwing whiny little tantrums and boycotting the league.

Fact-checkers have also previously rated Trump’s “way down” claim as false.

Clearly tired of Trump’s attacks against the NFL, Twitter users skewered him.

This is second time in 24 hours that Trump has whined about something happening in the sports world.

On Sunday, he said he should have left three UCLA basketball players in a Chinese jail just because a father of one of the boys refused to thank him.
