Trump meets with Twitter CEO, and the social media platform explodes with scorn and suspicion

On Tuesday at the White House, President Donald Trump met behind closed doors with Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey, and he later tweeted out this about the meeting:

Great meeting this afternoon at the @WhiteHouse with @Jack from @Twitter. Lots of subjects discussed regarding their platform, and the world of social media in general. Look forward to keeping an open dialogue! pic.twitter.com/QnZi579eFb

Dorsey also released a statement on the closed-door meeting:

But while Trump and Dorsey put a happy spin, others on social media were less than pleased with the meeting:

Then when he tried to answer a second time, I hope you put him in time out.

Then when he tried to answer a third time, I hope you said he was suspended and had him escorted out.
