President Donald Trump thought he’d attack a Democrat who dropped out of the 2020 presidential race, but only succeeded in drawing attention to his own corruption and greed.
Early Friday morning, Trump sent out this tweet regarding an announcement from Rep. Tim Ryan (D-OH) that he would be ending his bid for the Democratic nomination:
Another big dropout of the Presidential race was, along with 0% Tim Ryan, 0% @RepSwalwell. Such talk and bravado from both, and nothing to show. They stood for nothing, and the voters couldn’t stand by them. Obnoxious and greedy politicians never make it in the end!

The line about “obnoxious and greedy politicians” was more than social media could stand, and Trump was roundly mocked for his posting:
