Cancer Patient Kicked Out Of Event By Heartless GOP Senator (VIDEO)

Republican Senator Dean Heller (Nev.) has some serious explaining to do after this disgraceful act.

Back in May, as Senate Republicans were in the midst of repeatedly trying to repeal the Affordable Care Act, also known as Obamacare, Las Vegas resident Laura Packard talked about how the landmark healthcare law is literally helping her stay alive because the insurance pays for her cancer treatments.

She has pinned the tweet at the top of her Twitter feed ever since.

So, when Senator Heller held a town hall in Las Vegas this week, Packard attended to voice her concerns about the Senate version of Donald Trump’s tax plan, which kills Obamacare by repealing the individual mandate.

Millions of Americans have affordable healthcare coverage now because everyone is required to buy health insurance. Without the mandate, healthy people will likely drop their coverage, which would cause the higher risk pool to collapse, thus causing insurance companies to drop sicker customers.

Packard asked:

“Why are you voting for me to lose my healthcare?”

After delivering her question, Heller began to answer by attacking the individual mandate. As he was doing so, Heller’s goons approached Packard and kicked out of the event.

That’s right, a Republican, who also happens to be one of the most vulnerable incumbent senators seeking re-election in 2018, was actually heartless enough to have a cancer patient removed just for asking a question about healthcare.

Here’s the video via Twitter.

Packard later talked about it on Twitter.

Heller should be ashamed of himself. He had the power to tell his goons to back off, but he didn’t. He also should have shown more sympathy for Packard and her plight. She is fighting for her life, and Heller doesn’t seem to give a damn.

And, yet, Republicans wonder why most Americans despise them.
