Kellyanne Conway faceplants while trying to brag about indictment of former Obama official

Kellyanne Conway

Kellyanne Conway did the equivalent of spiking a football before even getting into the endzone on Thursday when she tripped all over herself trying to celebrate the indictment of a former Obama official in connection with the Mueller investigation.

For lying about his own connections with Ukrainian officials during the Russia investigation, former White House counsel Gregory Craig, who served under former President Barack Obama, has been indicted by federal prosecutors.

And of course, Conway decided to brag about it on Twitter.

The problem is that former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn, who served briefly in the White House under President Donald Trump, was also indicted and took a plea deal with Mueller for lying to the FBI about his contacts with Russians. In addition, several members of the Trump 2016 campaign have also been indicted, including Paul Manafort, Rick Gates, Roger Stone and George Papadopoulos. Even Trump’s former lawyer and fixer Michael Cohen is going to jail.

It should also be pointed out that Craig left the White House in 2010 and committed his alleged crimes in 2012. In short, not really something to brag about.

So, Conway is clearly pretending none of those indictments happened while fixating on Craig because he worked in the Obama White House. If you’re keeping score at home, Trump is clearly in the lead when it comes to indictments.

And Twitter users certainly reminded her of the score.

Once again, Conway humiliates herself desperately trying to protect Trump.
