Fox News host Laura Ingraham got dealt a massive dose of Twitter karma Thursday after she made rude comments about model Chrissy Teigen, who was named to Time’s “100 Most Influential People” list this week.
The feud began when Ingraham mocked Teigen on her show, noting that she was a frequent critic of President Donald Trump. Ingraham then added:
“She was chosen, according to the profile, because quote, all her life Chrissy Teigen has liked to eat. She’s not shy about that or anything else. Well, that’s nice and innovative, eating.
“But did most Americans like her take on female empowerment during last week’s Democratic Retreat?”
Ingraham then played a clip of Teigen commenting that women should say “f*ck you” more:
In response, Teigen took to Twitter (where she has 11 million followers) and leveled Ingraham:
Corny monster. There were 1 million other ways to try and take me down and this is what you choose? Fuck you. ? https://t.co/wETBvafAzo

when time comes out with their 100 most influential white supremacists list, I promise I won’t question your worthiness, @IngrahamAngle

Teigen also shared this gif of Ingraham giving what appears to be a Nazi salute:

Others then joined in bashing the Fox News host, who has been an ardent supporter of Trump since he first ran for the White House:
To be honest, this is really just a reminder of why you are so brilliant. In the end, the only person she really took down is herself. pic.twitter.com/xoq0OGZxK3

How dare the people at Time select someone who is relatable to most people. Someone who cooks, and takes care of her house, has a sense of humor and is compassionate, and speaks her mind, sometimes unfiltered.
Laura is upset they didn’t have more 1-dimensional people like her.

She’s mad because she didn’t make the list and because all the 80-year-olds who watch Hannity go to bed before her show comes on.

If you’re being taking down by @FoxNews you know it’s cause you’re doing something right! Keep it up.

You can tell from the way laura is talking and the way she’s moving her head that she’s jealous. This is how high schoolers react when jealous. Her body language says, “I should have been on that list, I’m better than Chrissy! It should have been me!”
Don’t be jelly, laura.
