Fox & Friends Host Suggests Trump Go To War In Syria To Distract From Comey’s Book

President Donald Trump watches Fox & Friends every morning, so this kind of talk is seriously dangerous. And now we’ll all know why Trump dragged us into a conflict in Syria.

Trump already threatened to go to war with Syria after the alleged chemical attack that killed dozens earlier this month.

This week, Trump even upped the ante by threatening Russia with missile strikes in Syria.

But Trump is dealing with a hot news story in the United States over the last couple days as former FBI Director James Comey’s new book A Higher Loyalty is set to hit shelves next week.

Excerpts from the book leaked online already tend to demonstrate that it could be full of bombshell revelations, especially since Trump is already throwing temper tantrums on Twitter about it.

On Friday morning, Fox & Friends literally mused about Trump starting a war in Syria to distract from Comey’s book.

The host, Ainsley Earhardt, asked guest Geraldo Rivera:

“If the president, and France, and the UK decide to strike Syria, don’t you think that story would be a bigger story than Comey’s book that’s going to be released on Tuesday?”

Rivera agreed that:

“I think that the United States, the United Kingdom, and France certainly have the military wherewithal. Indeed, the United States could do it on its own, strike Syria, strike Assad’s resources, military assets, in retaliation for the gas attack, the horrifying gas attack that the president was so righteously revolted by. I mean, we all were.”

Here’s the video via Twitter.

People are speculating that Trump is determining national security to distract from his scandals.

If Trump was watching this particular segment, he may very well take this suggestion seriously and take our nation to war, which could mean war with the Russians. The staggering cost expended in blood and treasure just to distract the media and the American people would be staggering.

Fox News should be held responsible if this happens.

We should not go to war just to knock a book release out of the news. We’re talking about the lives of our troops, who did not join the military to risk their lives just because a president is scared of something that was written about him.
