Former Democratic congressman Beto O’Rourke officially announced Thursday morning that he is running for the 2020 Democratic presidential nomination, and President Donald Trump just couldn’t resist commenting on O’Rourke.
Speaking to reporters as he met with Irish Prime Minister Leo Varadkar, the president remarked:
“I think he’s got a lot of hand movement. I’ve never seen such hand movement.
“I said ‘is he crazy or is that just the way he acts?’ I’ve never seen anything quite like it.”
He’s never seen anything like it? Then clearly he’s never watched himself speaking, because few people use their hands when they talk more than Donald Trump does. The BBC even took a look at Trump’s hand motions and explained what they mean:
It didn’t take long for Twitter to light up with ridicule and mockery in response to Trump’s ridiculous comments about O’Rourke:
Trump also uses a lot of hand movements, but they are too small for the human eye to detect. https://t.co/LbsXUUBKDF

Does this delusional fool ever watch his fat ass on TV? If he did, he would quickly realize that his hands and hand movements are very dainty. He makes a characteristic “O” sign that was interpreted as a “P” sign in the day. So come on Trump!!https://t.co/FRemzioZtG
