Ivanka Gets Schooled For Claiming Daddy’s Economic Agenda Is Helping Americans

Ivanka

Ivanka Trump not only gave her father, President Donald Trump, full credit for the current state of the economy, she laughably claimed that his economic agenda is helping Americans.

Trump and his team have been desperately trying to take credit for the positive economic achievements we’ve been seeing over the past two years.

The problem is that the economic success began under former President Barack Obama’s watch, and it’s his economic policies that have continued the positive trends, including the low unemployment rate and a booming stock market.

However, facts did not stop Ivanka from giving her dad complete credit:

Again, the fact is that Trump has been benefiting from an economy that Obama built over eight years.

Unemployment had already dropped significantly by the time Obama left office in January 2017 and the stock market was already setting new records. But Trump’s actual economic agenda threatens all of that progress.

Trump’s trade wars are hurting American businesses and workers while raising prices on consumers. Furthermore, Trump’s tax cuts for the wealthy and corporations has saddled the nation with a higher debt and a ballooning deficit while doing nothing for a majority of Americans taxpayers.

Twitter users responded to Ivanka by informing her that the economy under her dad is not as good as she makes it out to be:

Now is a good time to remind everyone that Trump did not run on the supposedly strong economy during the midterm election. And a big reason for that is because most Americans didn’t benefit from the GOP tax scam and the fact that healthcare, housing, and food are all rising in cost. Wages have also been stagnant while corporate CEOs laugh all the way to the bank. Ivanka Trump does not know what it’s like to be a middle class or poor American and she never will. She was born with a silver spoon in her mouth and the only economic success that matters to her is that of her own family and rich pals.
